Hello there!
How Cake-Bit Came to Be
Hey, I’m Adele! Cake-Bit Studio is my little corner of the world where I get to turn curious ideas into colourful creations. What started as me just making things for fun quickly grew when people kept asking me to make stuff for them. That warm, fuzzy feeling of seeing someone light up over something I made—that’s what keeps me going.
The name Cake-Bit comes from two of my favourite things: miniature cakes I used to sculpt from clay, and my not-so-secret love of video games. Cake + 8-bit = Cake-Bit. Cute, geeky, and a little cheeky—just like the studio itself.

Printing, Pets & Playfulness
These days you’ll find me designing 3D models on my iPad and watching them come to life layer by layer on my printer. Researching each subject, prototyping, and fine-tuning until it works—it’s weirdly therapeutic. Even pulling off the supports at the end is satisfying (well, unless the printer clogs and throws a tantrum).
A lot of my ideas come from my birds, Rosie the “Very Important Dog,” and the rest of my little crew who keep me company while I work. They’re my creative cheer squad and a reminder not to take things too seriously.
I want my creations to spark joy—the kind of joy you get from holding something playful, colourful, and made with care. Art should be for everyone, and I’m all about finding methods that make creating accessible without losing craftsmanship. Cake-Bit Studio is me doing what I love, while also working towards better practices—like recycling printer waste wherever I can. Thanks for being here—it really does mean the world.
